Edinburgh Castle overlooks the beautiful Scotland city that it’s named after. It sits on an extinct volcano known as Castle Rock that is several hundred years old. The location of the castle was a strategic move, as it would be the site of many battles and wars in the years to come. With such a long history of death has come many stories of hauntings that have cemented the castle’s reputation for being one of the most haunted places in Scotland.
