In the middle of the chilly waters of San Francisco bay, sits a maximum security facility that housed some of the most dangerous felons during its years of operation from 1934-1963. Although no one ever successfully escaped the prison, many attempts were made over the years. The dark history has led to many reports of hauntings within the now empty prison walls.
