In November of 1961, a man named Nicolaos Spachidakis, second officer of the Greek freighter called the Captain Theo, was scanning the water when one of the white caps in the distance caught his eye. He notified the Captain and set off towards the object Nicolaos had spotted. As they got closer, they couldn’t believe what they saw. This is the survival tale of Terry Jo Duperrault.
